For hard to treat diseases and conditions (Lyme, yeast, mold, chronic viral infections, cancer )
The concept of Biofilm is very important in the treatment of chronic diseases.
Our bodies carry a history of past infections, both acute and chronic. These infections may include , viral (i.e. mononucleosis), yeast ( candidia), bacteria ( Strep and Staph) parasites ( tape worms ) and spirochetes ( Lyme). We have 10 times more microbial cells than human cells. Some of us have more than others and they can take over depending on our immune system.
These microbes have adapted and been around since the beginning of time. They communicate and develop protective defenses. The most protective of them is Biofilm. The situation has been made worse by the presence of heavy metals, drug resistant microbes and environmental toxins that we acquire, even in utero.
Researchers have discovered that antibiotics don't work in the presence of biofilm
The Biofilm protocol must be individual based. It is best to start slowly so that you can expose the offender and not case a severe Herx reaction. The Biofilm protocol is done first to make the current treatment ( i.e. antibiotics) more effective. The protocol is done over a 3 to 4 month period. This is a break through concept in treatment and is an important tool in treating difficult diseases.
Evaluations done before treatment with the Biofilm Protocol include Blood testing, Testing for Heavy Metal and Environmental Toxins, Urine tests and a GI comprehensive stool test.
