Description
Melatonin is a natural hormone which is secreted by the pineal gland that regulates the human biological clock. Melatonin is produced by the body several hours per night. As we age, our production of melatonin decreases. Melatonin is a potent hormone (and a precursor of serotonin) that should only be taken with the supervision of a doctor.
These capsules contain 1mg of pharmaceutically pure melatonin . That is tested and certified by an outside organization.

Uses
Insomnia, difficulty with sleep onset.
Directions
Place 1 tablet under your tongue 1 hour before bedtime, be ready to sleep and in a darkened room.
Melatonin should not be taken during the day.

Side effects: Few have been observed. However morning grogginess, sleepwalking and disorientation have been reported. Pregnant or breast-feeding women should not take melatonin. Individuals with severe depression or schizophrenia, epileptics and those with autoimmune disease should take melatonin on under medical supervision.
Use caution and speak with your physician if you are also taking any drugs that contain serotonin or serotonin precursors, such as 5HTP.
