Cortisol, and Studies show that it converts to testosterone in women to use vaginally for incontinence, recurrent UTIs and low libido.
In order to determine whether you should take DHEA you should be tested by your physician.  Some sources believe that 5-15 mg for women and 10-30 mg for men are appropriate. Many researchers recommend as much as 50 mg per day in men or postmenopausal women. DHEA levels should be monitored before and during supplementation.

Pure DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) that has been micronized to a very small particle size to facilitate absorption is provided in these 10 mg vegetarian capsules.
