It is a pretty good estimate that over the last three years we have helped over 700 people lose weight, improve health parameters and in general develop a healthier lifestyle using the Ideal Protein protocol at our three clinic locations. The evidence is clear that a low carb diet is less inflammatory and improves a myriad of health issues. For me I think reducing visceral adiposity is one way we have to control our chances of developing cancer. It is a well published fact that the fat around our organs is filled with inflammatory cytokines that can lead to mutations in our cells. By reducing that amount of fat, we reduce our risk of developing cancer. While we cannot control our genetic make up - why not control something we can ?
